Collocation is the fact of two more words often being used together.

Example:

go in for = ประกอบอาชีพ

After university, I will go in for a teacher.

หลังจากจบมหาวิทยาลัยแล้วฉันจะประกอบอาชีพเป็นครู

look up to = ยกย่องนับถือ

Dan has always look up to his teachers.

แดนให้ความนับถือต่อครูของเขาเสมอ

keep on = ทำต่อไป ดำเนินต่อไป

Keep on working although they arrive here.

จงทำงานต่อไปแม้ว่าพวกเขาจะมาถึงแล้ว

run away = หนีไป

David ran away from school since last night.

เดวิดวิ่งหนีออกจากโรงเรียนตั้งแต่เมื่อคืน
